Relocat is free software. The server and the client applications are licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License v3 (AGPL-3.0-or-later). You are free to use, study, modify, and redistribute them under that license's terms.

Corresponding source

A public source mirror is being prepared. Until it is published, request the complete corresponding source for the running revision — server and Flutter client — by email to privacy@relocat.org. We provide it at no charge, as the license requires.

The deployed revision identifier is not exposed by this deployment. Request it via the Imprint contact.

Network use is distribution

The AGPL's section 13 closes the "application service provider" loophole: if you operate a modified version of Relocat as a network service, you must offer the source of your modified version to the users of that service.

Dual licensing

Relocat is dual-licensed: the AGPL v3 governs the open-source distribution and self-hosting, and a separate commercial license is available for organisations that cannot comply with the AGPL's terms. Use of this hosted Service is governed by the Terms of Service.

Trademarks

The "relocat" wordmark and logos are trademarks of the operator and are not licensed under the AGPL. See the Terms of Service for permitted nominative use.
